Protecting Our Community

Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, TTUHSC El Paso has served as a beacon of hope through the actions of faculty, residents and students.

Since the onset, media outlets have sought the expertise of faculty. Their knowledge and advice have guided Borderland residents as they protect their families during the worst public health crisis in a century.

Medical and nursing students also joined their mentors on the front line, treating the sick and vaccinated thousands at clinics, football games and at an international port of entry on the U.S.-Mexico border.
