Finding Hope and Resilience Together
In times of crisis, TTUHSC El Paso stands as a beacon of compassionate care for the Borderland.
On Aug. 3, 2019, El Paso suffered an unimaginable act of violence when a mass shooting occurred at a centrally located Walmart. Twenty-three residents of both the U.S. and Mexico died and 24 were wounded.
TTUHSC El Paso physicians, nurses, and medical and nursing students rushed to care for victims of one of the deadliest mass shootings in U.S. history.
What they saw that day changed them forever.
Read more of our TTUHSC El Paso family’s experiences on Aug. 3 in the Fall/Winter 2019 edition of TTUHSC El Paso Alumni & Friends.
